An interesting thing happened last night.
For the first time in my history of battling depression, I actually willfully dragged myself out of a down spell.
They always pass, usually over the course of a day or evening. I’ll curl up and sulk a while, and eventually I’ll just not be depressed anymore, without even noticing the transition back to ‘normalcy’.
